Faculty of Law at Sohag University organized a symposium about the importance of participating in the presidential elections under the slogan “Your vote is your future – come down and participate,” to raise awareness of all its employees and urge them to participate and cast their votes in the presidential elections, in the presence of both prof. Rabeh Rateeb, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Maher Hamed. The faculty’s dean for environmental development and community service, Dr. Sabri Chalabi, the faculty’s dean for education and student affairs, Salah Hamed, the faculty’s secretary, and a group of staff members and students, at the faculty’s headquarters on the new campus.
Prof. Hassan Al-Numani, President of the University, said that the role of the university is not only to build the student’s personality, but rather to consolidate the culture of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, especially in promoting political participation in national events and electoral entitlements of all kinds, stressing that participation in electoral entitlements is a patriotic and national duty.
