Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, participated in completing the planting of 1,000 meters of grass and ornamental and fruit trees at the university’s new headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, vice presidents of the university, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, secretary-general of the university, and Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah Mahmoud, director general of Administrative Affairs.
Al-Noamany explained that the university has prepared and implemented a clear plan to plant trees in the university, in implementation of the 100 Million Trees Initiative, launched by President Sisi, which is not just an initiative to plant trees to benefit from the aesthetic appearance, but rather has an environmental, global and economic impact, stressing the necessity of awareness in order to rationalize Consumption and exploitation of clean, environmentally friendly energy, ensuring a healthy and safe life for us and future generations.
