Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, continues his inspection tours to follow up the construction work of the project, the International Gymnasium “Covered Hall”, which is being implemented in the new campus, accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, Accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, Engineer Hussein Mohamedin, Director of the University’s Engineering Department, Engineer Mohamed Lotfy, Executive Director of the Project, and Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security.
Al-Noamani stressed that the Egyptian state has paid clear attention to sports facilities, which have witnessed development throughout the republic, as President Sisi directed work to establish a number of huge sports facilities, in line with the state’s strategy to build the Egyptian human being, adding that the establishment of the international gymnasium in the university’s grounds
It is an important step and came to meet the needs of the university and the external community, by establishing the first hall to be established according to international standards in the field of promoting and improving sports.
Al-Noamani praised the tireless work and effort of those responsible for implementing this huge project, which was 55% completed, on an area of 12 thousand square metres, at a cost of 800 million pounds, stressing that this dream that the Sohagian community wished for would turn into a reality and a tangible reality with Egyptian hands, to serve as a sporting edifice
