Youth Care

About the sector

The office of youth care presents artistic, social and cultural activities, families, technology and sciences-scout and student activities like solidarity fund, register the student families and participate in the central activities

1- Sport activity

  • Hold sport tournaments in football ,basketball ,Ping-Pong.
  • Choose the teams which represent the faculty to compete at the level of the republic. 

2- The activity of scout and general service

  • Holds the camps of the scout and general service

3- The social activity and trips

  • Organize -trips for the students
  • Make scientific, social and research competitions
  • Make the ideal male and female students’ competition

4- Artistic competition

  • Hold artistic competitions in music-coral playing music

5-the cultural and scientific activities

  • Hold cultural seminars and competitions

6- Group activities

  • Group activities consisted of different students from different stages, the leader of the group is one of the staff members

How to participate in the activities:

  • Following up the announcements which youth care office announces either at the faculty of at the university.
  • Fill the participation application in the student activities in which the student is distinguished

The procedures of forming a student family or group:
The group file which is presented to youth care office includes:

  • The name of the group, must be in Arabic and has a clear meaning, the student groups must not be established according to political or religious belief.
  • The names and data of the members of the group must be complete and accredited by youth care office.
  • The approval of one of the staff members(or lecturer-professor-assistant professor to be the leader of the group.
  • The approval of one of the staff members to be the decision maker of the group.
  • A temporary board of directors till running the elections.
  • The regulation of the basic activity of the group
  • The plan of the group activity attached by assessment application for every project.

Solidarity fund services

  • Paying the academic fees.
  • Purchasing books.
  • Support the nutrition meals.
  • Buying medical glasses.
  • Monthly financial aids for the needy students.

The goals of the solidity fund

  • Solve the financial problems which face the students through.
  • Present the social and financial aids for the needy students.
  • Acknowledge the needs of the students and try to solve them.
  • How to get benefit from the solidarity fund.
  • The needy student applies to youth care office and illustrate the kind of aid he needs , his reasons and the files which prove this.

Types of aids

  • Food pones.
  • Medical glasses.
  • Provide medicine.
  • The academic payment of expenses or purchase the academic books.
  • The payment of the expenses of the hostels.

The required papers and files for getting the aids

  • Copy of the student and his father IDs.
  • Salary breakdown statement, or agricultural holding statement if he is a farmer , or a letter from insurance office if he is working in a private sector.
  • Medical certificate of the student’s father’s disease and his inability to work.
  • Copy of death certificate if the student’s father’s dead.
  • Statement of the student brothers if they still in the different stages of education.
  • Social paper from the social unit office if it’s the first time that the student asks for help.
  • Declaration that his mother doesn’t work either at private or governmental sectors.
  • Report from the medical administration to determine the case of the students if he is disabled.

University Book Distribution Center

Center Services

  •  The center distributes textbooks to students and sets daily appointments for the faculty’s various classes.
  •  Ensures students have easy access to their university books.

    The department provides the daily services needed by all employees regardless of their responsibilities. It is the department responsible for handing over work to employees, as well as terminating and clearing employees.
